Good day out there..
(please read it before you erase it from your Inbox)
It's been awhile since I wrote my last journal.. I know I'm not a good writer..Hahaha But I hope people will read this one. I have a favour to ask.
Well.. a couple weeks before were rough..many things happen at the same time and I need to organize my mind for a while.
It's my last semester at my college if I can pass this I'll get my Bachelor..yipppi I allready got my Diploma last year and I'm happy for it.
Talking about my last semester, now I'm in the middle of my Final project. Oh yeah..it's about Graphic Novel..
In Indonesia this form of graphic art is quite peculliar for many people, so my goal is to make people know about it. *wish me luck*
What I'm doing right now beside typing this journal are surfing the net to find out if there anything that might help me to define what is sequential art, graphic novel and about the novel that I will convert to a graphic novel.
I'm learning on a new stuff right now, that called Open Canvas.People said that it is easy, but found it a lil'bit difficult to make the right setting for your brush. There's to many button and bar to be observe. But thanks to God that has created web and deviantart, I found several useful tutorial..Thank U Lord..love U
I woud have something to ask you about my Final Project..For all of you illustrator and graphic designer out there, I need to know YOUR OPINION about the differences between graphic novels and comic books, are there any beside the stroyline itself??
I got a lil'bit confussed, I've searched to so many web and blog most of them told me that there's no differences but some of them said that there is a difference and that is the storyline, frame, story development and etc...I almost made me cry every night in front my PC to figure those things out, not yet I have to read Will Eisner book "Comic and Sequential Art"..It's a great book by the way but somehow it just make me more currious about graphic novel...

hahahahaaha
Yesterday I tried to wrote the 2nd chapter of my paper, and it didn't work as good as I expected. I got a lil bit confussed by the words and the information that I got.
Especially in defining SEQUENTIAL ART and the history of it..Ooo God *I know I'm lil bit shorthand in defining something..sorry*
So guys, what do you think about sequential art..Does it start from the early ages (cavemen) or it started at middle age (tapestry, icon, hieroglyph, etc)..Again I will need YOUR OPINION about this one..
I must finish it, what ever it takes.. HAHAHAHAHA....And thank you m(_ _)m for your participation..God Bless You all..
And if you don't mind can you also tell your friend about this journal?? thank u guys..
